Getting there is part of the charm. From Zagreb, head to Samobor and continue into the Samobor Hills (Samoborsko gorje) toward Smerovišće/Šoićeva kuća. Park at one of the marked lots and follow the signed forest trails to Japetić, the highest peak of the range. The metal Piramida lookout stands near the top, a classic mountaineering icon with a small platform and railing for safe viewing. Mountain huts and picnic spots dot the area, so it’s easy to turn this into a relaxed half-day escape.

Piramida Japetić blends easy access with big-sky views and that nostalgic lookout-tower atmosphere. It’s the perfect quick nature fix from Zagreb—part hike, part panorama, all feels.
