📍 Location: High above Podravina, on the slopes of Klenovnik, right next to the small St. Vuk chapel in Vukovoj (Municipality of Klenovnik).
From Varaždin: Leave the city heading southwest toward Maruševec. From there, follow the signs for Klenovnik – the road winds through small villages and farmland, gradually climbing toward the hills. As you get closer, you’ll notice vineyards and orchards lining the road. The drive takes about 25–30 minutes.
From Zagreb: Take the A4 motorway toward Varaždin, then connect onto the local road network leading to Maruševec and onward toward Kalnik.
From Međimurje or Slovenia: Cross toward Varaždin, then continue south toward Maruševec and follow the Kalnik signs.
The road is narrow and climbs steadily, with several switchbacks through forest and vineyards. Don’t be surprised if it feels like you’re driving “to nowhere”—after a few bends you’ll see a small roadside pull-off with a sign marking Vidikovac Vukovoj. That’s where you can park.
